If you’re like me, you enjoy a good horror game like Outlast or Evil Within. Yesterday, a new game was announced named White Night from OSome Studio, published by Activision, which bring a fresh new approach to the survival horror genre. The game is set in 1930s Boston within a mansion, taking a black-and-white art style to give it that film noir feel. You must solve puzzles of lights and shadows using collectible matches and to reveal the next passage. White Night is set to release on March 3rd, 2015 and will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
If this game can make this art style work, mixing black-and-white with a horror type adventure, this game has my name written on it and can’t wait to see the end product. If you look at the trailer, you can only image how immersive this game could get with only matches for a light source and that you have to keep apparitions away so to continue your adventure to find answers. What’s your thoughts on this new game? Doe’s the art style intrigue you? Tell us in the comments below!
