The wait is finally over and we will get the chance to finally try Life Is Strange, Episode 1 “Chrysalis“. Today, Dontnod Entertainment released their launch trailer for the game which gives us the synopsis of the game and sets the mood for tomorrow. You play as Max, a 18-year-old girl who finds out that she as the ability to rewind time. She moves back to Arcadia Bay, Oregon and she’s reunited with her friend Chloe, which has changed overtime while Max moved away. Through puzzles and conversations, Chloe and Max must find out what happened to a missing girl who disappeared some time ago. Players must make hard decisions that will have short to long-term consequences which will impact the story from episode 1 to 5 and will include some plot twist that no one will expect.

With the release of the trailer, Square Enix and Dontnod releases the last Dev Diary for the game entitled “Creating Arcadia Bay” which features the decisions behind the soundtrack, which is available on Spotify or Youtube, and understanding what goes behind creating a vibrant world.

Episode 1 “Chrysalis” will be available for download tomorrow on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC for $4.99 or $19.99 for the season pass which includes 5 episodes.

With the release tomorrow, I really can’t wait to get my hands on the first episode and try it out. With all the Dev Diaries and trailers, it really got me interested in the game and I’m hopeful that it will live up to the hype that I assumed it has. Will you be getting the game tomorrow?
