With the gameplay footage we saw at PlayStation Experience last month, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End seems like it got what it takes to be a game of the year contender, but what do we really know about this game? In Game Informer’s February Issue, Nathan Drake takes form and center in their cover story and gives us some new spicy information concerning the story and some new details coming to the game.

SOME SPOILERS AHEAD IF YOU DIDN’T PLAY UNCHARTED 3

Drake has lived happily with Elena for the past 3 years after the end of Uncharted 3. Nathan is called back to action by his “supposedly-dead” brother Sam to find some lost and forgotten pirate Utopia in Madagascar named Libertalia. There will be other locations than Madagascar featuring snow and so on. The articles also introduced information about 2 rival treasure hunters by the name of Rafe and Nadine. There was also mentioned that multiplayer will make an appearance in the final version.

Game Informer has a month-long coverage of the game and will give us new details in the coming weeks. Since PlayStation Experience, I’ve been ecstatic about this game because I really enjoyed the previous installments of the game.
