In a surprising announcement, which was done in a very original way, Telltale Games with collaboration of Mojang will give us Minecraft: Story Mode! I know, right? This once indie game, now one of the best-selling game in the world, will get its own Telltale spin.

Story Mode will be available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC, Mac, iOS and Android devices. Not a tone of information is available now but Mojang’s Info Quest II does reveal that the game will not have any direct connection to “Steve” or any Minecraft world details in it. The game will be community focused and hope to be as Minecrafty as it can be, which is nice for the fans of the game.

You can expect more details when they become available and you should be able to put your pixellated hand on Minecraft Story Mode sometime next year. This announcement really surprised me and will be a great addition to the ever-growing Telltale family. Are you exited to see this happen? Is Minecraft played out?
