Is it Christmas? Well, the first indicator would probably be the amount of games coming out this week. Just a few games to tell you about for the week of December 9th, 2014:
-Lara Croft and The Temple of Osiris(PS4/XBOX ONE/PC)
“Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris is the successor to the critically-acclaimed Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. In her new adventure, Lara Croft travels to Egypt and must join forces with rival archaeologist Carter Bell and imprisoned gods Horus and Isis, to defeat the evil god Set. Featuring a four-player co-op story, players must work together to explore the temple, defeat hordes of enemies from the Egyptian underworld, solve devious puzzles, and avoid deadly traps. All the while, players will compete for treasure, powerful artifacts, and ultimate bragging rights.”
-Destiny: The Dark Below(PS4/PS3/XBOX ONE/XBOX 360/PC)
“Expand your Destiny adventure with new weapons, armor, and gear, and increase your light level in The Dark Below. Play through new story missions, dominate in three new PvP Crucible arenas, or join friends to take on co-op challenges — including a new Strike and brand-new six-player Raid.”
-JUJU(PS3/XBOX 360)
“Journey with the shaman panda, Juju, and his lizard sidekick, Peyo, as they embark upon a dangerous and mystical journey to save Juju’s father and the world from an ancient evil. Run, bounce, chant, and battle humongous bosses with a friend or family member in this beautifully animated, lighthearted adventure. “
-Plenty of Fishies(Wii U)
“Exclusive to the Wii U; Plenty Of Fishies is a game that challenges you to get the highest score possible in several different game modes, mainly by eating fish smaller than you to get bigger. With several different multiplayer and solo player options, the amount of fun to be had is almost endless. Each level has it’s own goals, and each mode is different in many ways. With and online leaderboard, challenge peoples scores from all over the world!”
-Lucadian Chronicles(Digital Version)(Wii U)
“Collect heroes and assemble teams to fight through the single-player campaign mode or battle other players online in leagues and real-time draft tournaments.”
Small week indeed for releases. The Dark Below expansion should be a great addition to your Destiny experience, but will it be worth the $30? Also, What do you guys think about the co-op element of Lara Croft? Personally, I’m not a big fan of these type of games. Will the Lara Croft game live up to the reputation of the franchise?
