I love looking through Netflix because it offers lots of Stand-Up performances from various comedians. Doug Benson is one of those comedians that brings a new form of comedy. It will leave you either liking him or hating him. Recently, Netflix released an hour long comedy special from Doug Benson and it’s called Doug Dynasty.

I’ve been listening to Doug for a while now through his podcast Doug Loves Movies. One thing you have to take into consideration before watching Doug is that he’s a stoner and that aspect is really present in his routine. If that is not your kind of comedy, you probably won’t enjoy the show as much. I personally enjoyed this special because Doug feeds off the crowd’s energy, or how stoned they are. He has some written material but mostly seems improvised, which is good if you consider he smokes a jay every show.

The show is really enjoyable and I had a blast listening. It’s always a spontaneous laughs because of his approach. I personally enjoyed it a lot and probably will too.
